We are the champions!

Wednesday, 19 June In

Congratulations Moonee Valley. We’ve done it again!

We’ve again been named Mobile Muster’s Top Local Government Recycler for Victoria.

Since joining the program in 2007, we’ve collected 12 tonnes of mobile phones and accessories for recycling and, having already collected more than 100 kilograms so far this year, we’re well on our way to being champions again.

Councillors Richard Lawrence and Jim Cusack were more than happy to pick up the award at the Australian Local Government Conference in Canberra and set an example to other councils across the country.

But of course we couldn’t do it without you!

So thank you for putting the environment first and getting rid of your old mobile phones the right way.

Drop off your old phones, batteries, chargers and accessories in the Mobile Muster collection boxes at the Civic Centre, Transfer Station or any of our libraries.
