There’ll be no cheesy chatter like “do you like long walks on the beach?” and “where do you see yourself in five years’ time?” at our unique speed dating event next month.

Instead, the topics of conversation will shine a light making your home more sustainable.

If you’ve been thinking about getting solar power or hot water, or are interested in battery storage or electric vehicles, then why not join the experts from Renew at our speed date a sustainability expert evening?

The free event at the Civic Centre on 27 June will involve three environmental experts sharing information and a range of ideas to improve your home's energy efficiency during 15-minute "dates".

Simply bring your questions and utility bills along and get free, real advice.

And if the date goes well, it might even be the start of a blossoming new relationship between you and the environment.

Times slots are limited (only one date per person), so get in quick. Bookings can be made here

Can’t make it to the event but still want free energy advice?

Moonee Valley City Council has teamed up with leading sustainable solutions organisation Renew to show you how to live more sustainably and work out which energy products are right for you.

As well as quarterly information sessions and one-on-one ‘speed date’ drop-in sessions, you can access free 10-minute advice over the phone and discounted one-hour energy consultations (at a subsidised rate of $99).
